What To Do This Easter in Southern Utah

The flowers are blooming, spring is in the air, and the Easter Bunny is on his way. Everyone is looking forward to the joyful Easter traditions of egg hunts, good food, warm weather, and enjoying time with family and friends. If you’re looking for something new to do with the family this weekend, there is plenty to participate in in St. George Utah. 

Easter Events and Egg Hunts

What better way to celebrate Easter than to go on an egg hunt? If you’re in the St. George area and you’re looking for a good hunt for some candy filled eggs, you’re in luck. There are a number of different egg hunt events for kids going on in town this weekend. Stucki Farms Easter Event will have plenty of fun activities to enjoy on April 7, 2023 from 8am to 12pm. There is also an Easter event hosted by Live Utah on Saturday, April 8th from 10:30am to 12:30pm located at Cox Park. This event presents an egg hunt, big prizes, bunny photos, face painting, bounce house, and games. Another event happening this weekend is a Duck Race Friday from 10am to 8pm and Saturday from 10am to 4pm on Flood Street. Kiwanis Club’s 71st Annual Easter Egg Hunt is this Saturday, April 8, 2023. This event will take place at Vernon Worthen Park at 10:00am. You can also find an exciting egg hunt for several age groups at the Ivins Easter Egg Scramble. This event is located at Unity Park in Ivins and will start at 9am on April 8. There are so many fun options for egg hunting and other Easter festivities this weekend!

St. George Art Festival

Another entertaining event coming up this weekend is the St. George Art Festival. This family-friendly celebration began in 1980 and has been a favorite activity for locals and visitors from around the West since. The festival is on April 7th and April 8th. Those who attend this festival can enjoy thousands of original art pieces, live music and entertainment, a variety of food, and a fun children’s area. You can enjoy all of this while viewing unique and inspiring art all while participating in the community. Some of the food vendors at the festival include All American Grill, Kabob Shack, Twisted Noodle, The Korny Dog, Crepe Station, Hook’d on Bowls, and Slush Up! Shaved Ice! In the children’s section, the kids can create and explore by making their own art and crafts. You can also purchase merchandise with the art festival logo on various products such as T-shirts, hats, posters, stickers, and tote bags. The St. George Art Festival is one of the biggest events of the year and is one you will not want to miss.

Art Attack Run

The exciting activity that is coupled with the St. George Art Festival is the Art Attack run. This fun run will start at 9am Saturday, April 8th and it is a 1 mile long run through downtown St. George. This race is for anyone of any age, so you can choose a race category from the list that best fits you. The starting line is located at Town Square Splash Pad and there will be awards given out to the first place winner and medals given out to every finisher. This race is a great way to get into a cheerful mood for the Easter holiday by spending time in the warm weather with other members of the community.

 

Easter weekend is filled with so many events for all to enjoy in St. George, Utah. Celebrate time with family and friends by attending one or all of these events and make memories to last you until next Easter!
