The Tuacahn Amphitheatre 2023 Season

One of the most unique and authentic things about Southern Utah is Tuacahn Center for the Arts. As you watch performances surrounded by desert scenery under the stars, this outdoor amphitheater will give you a theatrical experience like no other. Tuacahn outdoor theatre will be showing three popular Broadway musicals in the summer months including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Tarzan, and the Hunchback of Notre Dame. In the indoor theatre, they will be showing the Carol King musical Beautiful and Irving Berlin’s White Christmas the Musical. You can also expect to see a number of concerts and small performances, as well. Tuacahn has the some of the best shows in the southwest with professionalism and excitement that you can’t find anywhere else.

ROALD DAHL'S CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY

One of the shows that Tuacahn is producing this year is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, a classic story loved by all ages. This musical is all about hope, wonder, music, and of course chocolate. You can watch Charlie Bucket explore Willy Wonka’s world of “Pure Imagination” live on the famous Tuacahn stage. The Tuacahn producers, performers, and stage crew do a phenomenal job of capturing the joy and excitement of this tale through music, dance, and stage effects. If you’re a fan of the movie, you’ll have to see this live show. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth. Tarzan

The live stage Broadway adaptation of the Disney film Tarzan is captured in all of its grandeur on the Tuacahn stage. Featuring the epic songs of Phil Collins, this show is one that will leave you feeling inspired and electrified. With the extravagant sets of the jungle and impressive costuming, the professionalism of this show will make you feel like you’re flying alongside Tarzan and the apes in the trees. This is a show that will create lasting memories for those of all ages. Come and watch the performance from May 20 - Oct 21, 2023. 

The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Tuacahn’s live stage production of Victor Hugh’s Hunchback of Notre Dame, with the striking score from the Disney film, is a show you will not want to miss. The plot is based on the deformed bell-ringer of Notre Dame, Quasimodo, and his tragic story that turns into a heroic one. As you watch this tale come to life on the stage, you will be full of boisterous, moving, and heartwrenching emotions. The enchanting music and passion of this show will make you feel as if you are in the streets of Paris. Don’t hesitate to get tickets for this soul-stirring performance. This show will run from July 15 - Oct 20, 2023.
