Come raise the flag, eat a hearty breakfast and watch the Dixie Celebration Parade at the Veteran’s Memorial Park located at 100 East Telegraph Street on Monday, July 24, 2017.   The flag raising ceremony begins at 7:00am, with breakfast following at 7:30am.  Breakfast is hosted by the Washington City Lion’s Club.  The cost is $5 per person or $20 per family, up to 5 individuals. 

The Dixie Celebration Parade starts at 9:00am.  The parade route begins at 300 North 300 East, then south to Telegraph Street, then west to 100 West, and then north to 100 North.   

There will be activities from 10:00am – 2:00pm at the Veteran’s Memorial Park and at the Willard O. Nisson Park, located at 300 West Telegraph Street.  Activities include wagon rides…

Join the City of St. George for the 2017 Independence Day Celebration on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, from 6:30 am – 11:00 pm. 

Independence Day Parade

This fun parade will start at 7:45 am.  The Parade will go down Tabernacle Street toward Town Square.  After the parade, join your city neighbors for the singing of the National Anthem at Town Square, followed by a day filled with fun and games. 

Independence Day Celebration Carnival

The City of St. George has joined forces with Carnival Midway Attractions to offer a carnival with 16 different rides and 10 games.  The Carnival goes from June 30th - July 4th, but it is closed on Monday, July 3rd.   You can buy individual tickets, a mega pass or a wristband.
