St. George Regional Airport

Traveling is one of the most exciting things to do. Visiting new places, meeting new people, and making new memories are unlike anything else. That feeling of walking into an airport with the anticipation of the trip ahead of you is one of the best feelings; however, waiting in long lines and being under the stress of a crowded airport isn’t so fun.  A lot of travelers wish for a smaller and more quiet airport. If you’re one of those people, the St. George Regional Airport is the place to fly out. It has one of the most comfortable and calming atmospheres of any airport. Are you hooked now? Let me tell you all about it!

Quaint and Calm

The St. George Regional Airport is city-owned and covers a little over 1,000 acres of land. It was built about 10 years ago and is an upgrade and upscale from the St. George Municipal Airport which was on a smaller landlocked location. The interior and exterior of the St. George Regional Airport has a southwest style with accents of the desert. The relaxing neutral and earthy color tones make the stressful parts of traveling a little less stressful. Another unique element of the airport is the cozy sitting areas with little desert exhibits along a few of the walls. The staff is also very friendly and helpful making the overall travel experience simple and easy.

Quality Service

Although it may be small in size, the airport in St. George flies to and from a large selection of cities. A few of the most popular are Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Phoenix-Sky Harbor, Salt Lake City, and New York City. The airlines that fly out of St. George are United Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, and Alaska Airlines Lines.  Each of these airlines are known to have quality service and good resources in the cabin that will make your flight as pleasant as possible.

Airport Dining

If you’re wondering about what food options are featured in the St. George Airport, you’re in for some exciting news. The St. George City Council just approved an expansion to include concessions in the airport. Now passengers will have access to grab-and-go items like baked goods, smoothies, yogurt, a variety of drinks, and an espresso bar rather than settling for what is in the vending machines. In addition to that, there will be a small convenience shop for souvenirs and travel supplies. This upgrade will help manage the crowds and overall make a big difference for each traveler, so there is a lot to look forward to.

With all that St. George Regional Airport offers, each passenger is sure to have an easy experience traveling. If you want to go somewhere near or far, by the beach or mountains, the city or the country, the St. George Regional Airport has got you covered. Southern Utah is one of the top tourist destinations in the country, so it’s only fitting that it has a nice airport to welcome and accommodate all its visitors. When you’re up in the clouds you’ll be glad you chose to start your journey at St. George Regional Airport.
