Experience the Great Outdoors in Utah

Fans of outdoor recreation are always looking for new thrilling and impressive places to travel. Utah was ranked as one of the top 25 places to travel in the world by National Geographic, so we recommend all of the adventure seekers visit Utah on their next trip. Utah is full of beautiful destinations that are unlike anywhere else in the world, which include five national parks and eight national monuments. With mountainous escapes, towering red rocks, forests of green, and more, exploring the Beehive state will be an unforgettable experience.

Provo Canyon

Bringing in over 5 million visitors annually, Zion National Park is the most popular place to visit in Utah. It reached the second most visited national park in America, surpassing Yellowstone which is much larger in size. The big crowds have caused the Utah Office of Outdoor Recreation to start the process of the Zion National Park Forever Project. This project will help fund a new visitors center on the east side of the park which should help draw some of the crowds away from the more popular park trails. The visitors center isn’t the only new and exciting attraction on its way to Zion, but new biking trails and hiking trails spanning 40 miles are in the works as well. Zion is well-known for its narrow red rock canyons, magnificent sandstone cliffs, and unique and riveting trails. Even if you’ve traveled to Zion National Park before, you’ll have to visit again to see all of the new attractions that are on their way to this iconic park.

Zion National Park

The dramatic waters of the Provo River flow below Bald Mountain in Provo, Utah and this area is a sight to see. During the summer months, you can float along the river in a tube and soak in the evergreen forests surrounding you. If you’re a fan of fishing, the river has 15 miles of access to brown and rainbow trout with stunning views of Mount Timpanogos towering overhead. If you want to avoid getting wet, you can enjoy the Provo River simply by looking at the scenery. The Provo River flows in the Uinta Mountains making a series of aesthetic waterfalls. You can see the falls from an overlook just off of highway 15, but if you’re wanting a better view you can take a short trail to enjoy the scenery upclose. There is also a bike trail, Provo River Parkway, in the area that is an easy paved path where you can bike and rollerblade. The trail stretches 15 miles and follows the river.
