Desert Color covers approximately 650 acres of bright and open land just north of the Utah-Arizona State line. Across the I-15 from Desert Color are the SunRiver communities which include a golf club and, beyond that, the Virgin River.
North of these are communities like Bloomington and Bloomington Hills, and to the northeast is St. George Regional Airport.
More broadly, Desert Color, along with St. George and surrounding communities, are located in a large basin between various mountain ranges and parks, including West Mountain peak to the west, Signal Peak to the north, the peaks of Zion National Park to the east, and Mt. Bangs in Arizona to the south.

Desert Color will include many integrated amenities for enjoying the beautiful weather and stunning mountain views. The many resort facilities will overlook scenic lakes and park areas, and the tree-lined streets will give the impression of a garden city in the desert.
