Fun Activities for Teens in St. George

Sometimes teenagers can get bored and it can be a task to find something worth going out into town for. Luckily, there are so many places to have a great time in St. George, Utah. A few of the local favorites for individuals, families, and teenagers are roller rinks, bowling, trampoline parks, and more. A night out on the town with friends always feels like a party when you’re a teenager, especially if you have a cool place to go.

Join the City of St. George for the 2017 Independence Day Celebration on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, from 6:30 am – 11:00 pm. 

Independence Day Parade

This fun parade will start at 7:45 am.  The Parade will go down Tabernacle Street toward Town Square.  After the parade, join your city neighbors for the singing of the National Anthem at Town Square, followed by a day filled with fun and games. 

Independence Day Celebration Carnival

The City of St. George has joined forces with Carnival Midway Attractions to offer a carnival with 16 different rides and 10 games.  The Carnival goes from June 30th - July 4th, but it is closed on Monday, July 3rd.   You can buy individual tickets, a mega pass or a wristband.

Every Saturday, the Tuacahn Amphitheater hosts their “Saturday Market.” The market is an arts, crafts, food and entertainment fair every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Admission into the market is free. Local artists sell their artwork, home decor, jewelery, accessories and more. Different local musicians and performers are also there to provide entertainment.

From 9:00-11:00 a.m., Tuacahn concessions sell a pancake breakfast, and from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. they sell a hot dog picnic. Other local vendors will be selling different concessions as well.

St. George is always giving families something to do, and this summer is no different. The seventh annual Sunset on the Square movie program will provide families with a free movie in the park every 2nd Friday all summer long. Nearly 2,000 people gather at Town Square Park at 175 East 200 North in St. George to start the movies around dusk, usually around 5:00. Here is a preview of this summer’s movies and events:
