Family Friendly Fall Festivities in St. George, Utah

The leaves are changing and the summer heat is shifting into a cool autumn breeze. It’s officially fall in St. George, Utah! When fall comes around, the Southern Utah community comes to life with a whole array of activities and festivities to celebrate the season. There are so many fun activities to participate in that the whole family can enjoy. Check out the list!

Fall Festival

Fisher Family Farm in Hurricane, Utah is hosting an exciting fall festival. This festival is the hub for all the fun and spooky-filled activities you can imagine. There will be a tractor train, petting zoo, horse rides, pumpkin patch, bounce house, sledding hill, bike track, and haunted hayride. This year, a thrilling addition awaits: a Zombie Town Maze set to kick off at dusk, featuring spooky zombies who will haunt your every step as you navigate through the labyrinth. This event is recommended for ages 11 and up.  For those who want to avoid the spooks, a zombie-less maze is available before sunset. The festival begins on October 2nd, and will be on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings in October. Tickets can be purchased online, so you can be sure to experience the Halloween festivities at Fisher Family Farm.

Halloween Spooktacular

This three day Halloween event is one you won’t want to miss! The Spooktacular will be on October 27th, 28th, and 30th from 6:30pm-8:30pm at the Thunder Junction park. The whole family can celebrate Halloween and participate in a spooky craft, a cake walk, a witches brew, and a haunted train ride. Be sure to wear your most elaborate costume and you can have a chance to win the Halloween costume contest. Admission is $5 per person and ticket sales launch October 2nd, so be sure to get your tickets before spots fill up. Come enjoy the spooky decorations and colored lights and make long-lasting memories as a family!

Annual Fall Fest

The Annual Fall Festival hosted by Rocky Vista University, will be on Saturday October 28th from 10:00am - 1:00pm. This event will have a number of exciting fall themed activities that will be fun for everyone. Some of the activities include fun games, food trucks, educational booths, and a costume contest. This spooky event is free to the public, so those of all ages can come enjoy a night of tricks and treats. The festival will be at Rocky Vista University in Ivins.

Spooky Art Class

If your children enjoy making crafts and art, you can register them for a SmART Saturday Art Class for spooky printmaking. The class is October 14th with two sessions. The first session is 10:00am-11:00am and the second session is 11:30am-12:30pm. This creative class is located at the St. George Art Museum and it’s recommended for kids ages 6-12. Allow your kids to expand their creativity and artistic skills at this Halloween-inspired activity! Admission is $5.

Staheli Farms Farmland and Corn Maze

The most popular fall and Halloween event in St. George is Staheli Family Farms annual Corn Maze. Staheli Farms is celebrating their 22nd season this fall! This agricultural wonderland is the place to go if you want to experience the fall season to its fullest. Their attractions include an intricate corn maze, pumpkin patch, on-cite food concessions, cow train, witches, farm animal petting zoo, campfire & s’mores, field of screams, and farmland with over 30 different outdoor activities to choose from. The fall events are now open from now until October 30th and you can find more info about days and hours on their website.
